Spring 2016 Internships with BK Bots!

Interested in working with robots, kids and computers? Apply for one of our BK Bots semester internships! They are a great way for high school Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors to gain exposure to a range of STEM fields through hands-on experience. During this 12-week program you will:

  • Work alongside BK Bots instructor Sean Spillane as an assistant in the Lego Robotics classes for elementary and middle schoolers
  • Learn the Mindstorms kit and programming language from top to bottom while gaining experience working with children in a workshop setting
  • Enroll for free in either or both of our JavaScript and Arduino semester classes, each valued at $300

This is a great opportunity for something unique to put on college applications and your resume!

This internship is open to high school sophomores, juniors and seniors. Knowledge of Lego Mindstorms, Arduino, robotics, electronics or coding is a plus, but this opportunity is also open to motivated students with a strong desire to learn but no previous experience. Applicants should have a minimum GPA of 3.0, or 80 on a 100 point scale, and strong math, science and writing skills.
